Media Center Check Out and Overdue Policy for Johnson Elementary

Johnson Elementary students may:

Consequences for not returning items:

Check out privileges will be suspended when a student has accumulated six loans or has an item that has been outstanding for five consecutive weeks.
Parents/guardians will be notified one week prior to the suspension of library privileges via telephone.
A letter informing the parent or guardian about the overdue item(s) and the replacement cost will be mailed upon suspension of library privileges.
A student will overdue materials will not be able to attend school dances, commencement activities and other activities at the discretion of Dr. Williams. All fines and fees must be paid by the end of the school day on the day before the activity.
Special arrangements may be arranged with the Mrs. Bache for financial assistance if an item has been deemed lost.
